COUNTDOWNHi everyone!
Finally it has been confirmed: I'm going to Malta to live in one week. The thing is my friend Francesco, whom I met him when I spent there 2 months before this summer, offered me a job in his new restaurant "Il Sharma". It's a restaurant with a mix of Indian, Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine, and it will have 2 indian chefs.
I'm very happy to begin this new adventure, since I'm trying to improve my
English language skills, so this is a great chance to improve a lot the language, to start from I'm looking forward to start my new job and meet new different people.
So now I have to pack my suitcases and start again. But I do it with pleasure since, as the peole who know me knows, I have ants in my pants and I need constantly to move. When you are bitten by the poison of travel, it's very hard to quit.
This blog has been created in order to, at least once a week, I write and tell you how is my life in the smaller country of the Eropean Union. I'll explain to you also the culture, gastronomy, festivals and places of this archipielago... so you are not going to get bored. Besides, I'll try to upload some videos from time to time, in this way you will not miss you so much (^_^)
Now I leave you with a video of the opening of the cartoons Corto Maltese, an adventurer sailor from the beginning of the 20th century, who devote his life to hunt treasures around the world. The Corto Maltese comics have been my inspiration to design this blog. I hope you enjoy it.
